regards and informs you of the receipt of the letter of Saudi Chambers Council No. (699)
date (2.29.1438), referred to the letter of the Ministry of Environment, Water
and Agriculture No. (071 602)date (2.22.1438), regarding observing the veterinary
health situation in the various countries of the world and as mentioned in the
warning bulletin from the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) by e-mail
dated 11/08/2016 - 02/08/1438 included the lumpy skin inflammation disease
(lumpy skin disease) zones (Racha - Lechkhum, Kvemo Svaneti) in Georgia and
to prevent the transfer of this disease to the Kingdom.
Thus
the ministry decision No. (62 297) date (2.15.1438), of forcing a temporary ban
on the importing of cows from the regions (Racha - Lechkhum, Kvemo Svaneti) in Georgia because of lumpy skin inflammatory
disease (Lumpy Skin Disease).
